Neighbours spoilers: Ned Willis 'murdered' as former villain wrecks havoc on Ramsay Street

Ned (played by Ben Hall) has been getting his life back on track after he had a near-death experience at the hands of his stalker, Scarlett Brady, last October (Christie Whelan Browne). Yashvi Rebecchi (Olivia Junkeer) has been helping her boyfriend with his recovery as he was left with post-traumatic stress disorder after being stabbed by the former Neighbours resident. However, the Channel 5 soap has now confirmed the troubled character is going to be making a return to Ramsay Street after being charged following her attack on the budding artist. Could history repeat itself as she becomes obsessed with him once again?

During her two-month stint on the Australian drama, Scarlett drove a huge wedge between Ned and his girlfriend, with the pair eventually breaking up.

The deluded character set-up a number of worrying scenarios to make it seem an evil ex-boyfriend was after her, meaning her victim was never far from her.

When he realised how troubled she was, it was almost too late for the young artist as the former resident chased him around a maze, dressed as a bride and with a knife in hand.

Since she was arrested, the villain hasn’t been heard of but she will be making a comeback in upcoming episodes, though the reason she’s on Ramsay Street has not been confirmed.

Actress Christine, 38, has revealed her character will be starring alongside Ned, so is this a hint she will get rid of him once and for all?

Speaking of rejoining the cast and working alongside Ned star Ben, the actress said: “Yeah, Ben is amazing to me on set.

“Really looks out for me like I’m the new kid at school. He is so awesome and plus, a complete pro,” she added.

“Always knows his lines and what scene is coming next and where the characters have come from in every moment- which isn’t always easy on a show as quickly shot as Neighbours.”

Recent episodes have seen the young artist try to pursue a new business venture, taking photos and posting them on a promiscuous website called Fandangle.

It has been indicted for some time he has been struggling to find his path in life, so could this be the end of the line for Ned?

Though she might have to deal with his girlfriend Yashvi, who will stop at nothing to ensure the former villain doesn’t hurt her boyfriend.

Despite Scarlett causing them to split last year, it was the young police officer who saved Ned as she followed the pair to the maze.

Now a fully trained officer of the law, the Rebecchi family member could impose restrictions to stop the troubled character coming near her or her boyfriend.

However, being so manipulative and scheming, will the crazed resident find a way to get closer to the young artist?

Taking to Twitter, fans have been commenting on the announcement Scarlett would be returning, with one writing: “Great news. I loved this character and the way they built up the storyline over several months.

“Neighbours does these very well, better than any other soap and they don’t kill people off, always allowing a chance of return.”

Another added: “Soap characters don’t stay in prison for long. I liked her character, so it will be good to see her back.”

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5.
