Harry Potter (played by Daniel Radcliffe) experienced an unbelievable amount of story over the course of the seven Warner Bros. films. While the star-studded cast were extremely young when they started off in the first film of the franchise – The Philosopher’s Stone – they grew up with the story, and brought it to its natural conclusion.
Since the end of the films’ releases the franchise has continued on with a number of products, including a team up with LEGO.
Most recently, LEGO and Harry Potter released a brand new LEGO Diagon Alley set, which boasts a staggering 5,544 pieces, alongside 14 mini figures.
To cast a bit of Lumos over the new LEGO set, Fred and George Weasley stars James and Oliver Phelps exclusively discussed some of their favourite moments from working on the films with Express.co.uk
Gushing about the huge LEGO set which sat between the brothers, James guffawed: “To be honest, [LEGO] pretty much nailed it.”
“Even when you look at it and think: ‘Oh that was actually there! The spindles were actually those colours!” added Oliver.
“I think the only thing that was not there that was in the film was the dangling Dolores Umbridge – which I don’t think you can do with lego anyway.”

The real magic behind the bricks is the detail, the siblings went on.
The pair even explained the kit includes never-before-seen sets present inside the real Diagon Alley that were there during filming, but were never seen in the final films themselves.
“But what was amazing was, it rekindled memories in my mind of filming 20 years ago,” James explained.”
“I remember filming Chamber of Secrets and everyone was filming inside Scribblers [the book shop] and next door while they were setting up – it was quite tight.
“So Oliver and I would go into the Quidditch Supply store, and we were literally just hanging around in there – but that was never seen in the movies.
“So that was a really fun three week process,” James added. “For about half a second on screen.”
Oliver chuckled: “Yeah I don’t know if it was our dancing skills or not… but the final edit was one shoulder turn.
“I take it they had too much good material”
The crowning achievement for the twins in The Goblet of Fire came after the Yule Ball, however.
“And they turned that into a rock concert after, which was just so much fun,” James continued.
“And Mike Newell, the director, came over to us, and we had long hair at the time. He was like: ‘Do you want to start a mosh pit?’ And I was like: ‘Absolutely’.”
He concluded: “So, we were able to head bang and have a mosh pit – which is not an every day on a Potter film, but really good fun to do.”
