Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris rewards this week following new Beyond Light reveal

Gamers are just hours away from the latest Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris event is kicking off, bringing with it top rewards for those who can string together wins. What weapons and armour will be included has yet to be revealed but it won’t be long before Guardians have the full report on what new rewards will be available for the winning 3vs3 Crucible players. Destiny Trials of Osiris will be kicking off on September 4 at around 6pm BST, or 10am PT if you live in the United States.

As always, Guardians will have the chance to grab new loot, which can be traded for Legendary Shards.

Bungie has also been busy talking about what is coming next to the game with the launch of the Destiny Beyond Light expansion.

Plenty of new content is being planned and this includes new subclasses for Guardians to explore.

The latest to be revealed is the Titan’s Behemoth Statis class, which is set to pack quite the punch.

The latest information from Bungie reads: “When Beyond Light is released this November, Guardians who prefer the Titan class will discover a new subset of Stasis powers that allows them to harness the power of Darkness. And yes, fisticuffs will be part of it. But it’s not the entire story.

“As we discussed in our previous edition of this series, each Stasis subclass will embody a facet of Stasis.

“Warlock Shadebinders emphasize freezing enemies and, as you’ll learn more about next week, the Hunter Revenant is a specialist at slowing the action down. The Titan Behemoth uses Stasis as a means of both creation and destruction.

“With the Behemoth, we wanted to put an emphasis on the ability to use Stasis to create crystals that can alter the battle by changing the very ground beneath your feet.

“Control the ground, control the fight. As a result, the Behemoth can use their Stasis abilities defensively – such as creating crystalline walls to block enemies and gunfire – or offensively, by using crystals to freeze enemies.

“The Titan Behemoth can unleash a powerful melee attack known as the Shiver Strike. Here, the Titan lunges forward, launched by a Stasis explosion at their feet to propel them towards an enemy.

“While in mid-air, they summon a Stasis gauntlet that covers their fist and then slam into their foe, sending them careening backwards and slowing nearby enemies.”

While new content is being released later this year, other stuff is being relegated to the Destiny Content Vault.

The good news is that the Trials of Osiris experience will not be impacted by other content moving into the DCV this year. The Lighthouse will continue to be available to those who are able to complete a Flawless passage.

When it comes to today’s Trials event, Bungie won’t be sharing any information on rewards but they will confirm when the event is available to play.

The first reports on weapons and armour will be shared by Guardians, who will be confirming the new loot unlocks and the map selection almost straight away.

The Flawless loot might take longer to confirm, but we’ll be sure to update this story as soon as we know more.

Returning players will want to visit Saint-14 just, who will be located in the Tower Hangar.

The Osiris reset offers a new inventory of Trials Passages, Bounties, and the option to turn in Trials Tokens.

A different map and a fresh set of rewards will be available to Guardians today if they meet the requirements of the 960 Power rating needed to buy Passages.

As ever, Trials fans will earn exclusive rewards by defeating other teams of three, while hoping to gain entry to the Lighthouse.
