Tanner Buchanan is one of the young stars of Netflix’s Cobra Kai, the critically acclaimed sequel series to the Karate Kid franchise. He plays Robby Keene, the estranged son of Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and is well trained in martial arts.
How tall is the Cobra Kai actor Tanner Buchanan?
Tanner Buchanan is a 21-year-old American actor who is known for his roles in Cobra Kai and the ABC drama Designated Survivor.
The young star has also taken on roles in the series Game Shakers and Girl Meets World.
He is believed to be about 1.7m tall, which is the equivalent of 5ft 6 inches.
The star is about five inches shorter than his on-screen father, who stands at about 5ft 11 inches tall.
Fans have also noticed Buchanan’s super strength in the series, and he is believed to weigh about 145 pounds – or 10 stone.

The star made his first TV appearance in 2010 in the well-known Modern Family comedy series.
He has also taken on roles in Grey’s Anatomy, The Goldbergs and The Fosters.
His first main role in TV was in Designated Survivor in 2016, and then in 2018 he joined the cast of Cobra Kai.
The martial arts series originally aired on YouTube, before it was picked up by Netflix in 2020.
His character Robby Keene is one of the fan-favourites despite his troubled background.
Fans were quick to jump to Robby’s defence after he left Miguel severely injured following the fight.
One fan said on Twitter: “Robby Keene is a Power Ranger if I ever did see one #CobraKai.”
Another fan said: “I feel bad for what happened to Miguel at the end, but it was an accident that happened at the end of the fight.
“Robby never ever meant to hurt Miguel like that. I am more emotionally connected to Robby and I am very frustrated.”
Robby had a tough upbringing and he uses martial arts as a form of release.
Buchanan revealed he carried out most of his own stunts in the series and the cast were trained in martial arts.
On Instagram, the star posted a video of himself learning how to carry out a 540 kick.
Season three has already been announced and fans are looking forward to seeing more of Buchanan in the next instalment.
The star’s fanbase has grown since the show’s revival on Netflix, and it has reached the number one spot on the streaming platform.
