Meghan Markle, 38, and Prince Harry, 35, got stuck in helping primary school students plant flowers at Assistant Language LA’s Preschool Learning Center’s garden at the weekend. The organisation posted a series of photos of the royal duo looking happy as they rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty helping the young pupils plant fresh flowers.
Both Meghan and Harry wore facemasks during the visit which took place on the anniversary of Harry’s mother, Princess Diana’s death.
Among the flowers that they planted were Diana’s favourite forget-me-nots to honour her memory.
The candid snapshots shared by Assitant Language LA show a more laid back side to both Harry and Meghan, a body language expert has claimed.
Body language analyst Judi James told Express.co.uk: “There’s some general signs of compatibility and a sense of more relaxed, casual calm here between Harry and Meghan as they’re seen, probably for the first time, getting absorbed in a job that is more involving than some of their royal duties, and which involves small children, which clearly delights them both.”

According to Judi, Harry seems to be leading Meghan on this occasion when she has previously appeared to steer Harry during recent video calls.
Judi said: “We can also see Harry looking more adept and confident than he has in the US so far, showing what looks like his greater experience to lead the way rather than taking his lead off Meghan as he has done during some of their video speaking engagements.”
Judi claims Harry seems ‘truly happy’ in these new photos and his body language suggests he is ‘an experienced gardener.’
Judi said: “Harry’s body language suggests he’s truly absorbed and happy here.”
Following the royal visit Assistant League LA shared a post about it on Instagram.
The message read: The children of our Preschool Learning Center got a wonderful surprise when The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited yesterday!
“In addition to helping the children replant the Preschool Learning Center’s garden, they spent time with them, sharing their appreciation for nature and helping to instil the importance of healthy eating.
“We truly appreciate their time and care for our students.”
The post continued: “For more than 100 years, @assistanceleagueoflosangeles has been providing early education services to children in need.
“Our nationally-accredited preschool instructs 40 students from low-income LA families.”
Meghan and Harry’s new home is a two-hour drive from Los Angeles so they can easily pop back to Meghan’s home town for charity events.
Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland also lives in LA and regularly helps out Meghan and Harry with babysitting Archie.
