Melania Trump's 'petty' plot to BLOCK Donald's daughter Ivanka's face appearing on TV

The First Lady’s “petty” plan has been dubbed ‘Operation Block Ivanka’. Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, former close friend and adviser to Mrs Trump has made the claim in an upcoming book about her time spent working alongside the First Lady.

The book, titled ‘Melania and Me: My Years as Confidant, Advisor and Friend to the First Lady’, is due to be released on September 1.

An excerpt has been released ahead of the book’s publication, granting insight into the dynamics of the Trump family.

One analyst said the book “grants legitimacy” to rumours the First Lady and Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka have a “rivalry”.

Ms Wolkoff claims Mrs Trump was “not thrilled” about Ivanka “steering the schedule” of the president’s inauguration.

She writes: “It was Donald’s inauguration, not Ivanka’s. But no one was brave enough to tell her that.

“Melania was not thrilled about Ivanka’s steering the schedule and would not allow it.

“Neither was she happy to hear that Ivanka insisted on walking in the Pennsylvania Avenue parade with her children.

“Melania and I launched Operation Block Ivanka to keep her face out of that iconic ‘special moment.’”

Melania reportedly said: “No, we cannot make it happen.”

Also in her book, Ms Wilkoff accuses Ivanka as seeking “to be the only visible female Trump on the premises.”

Ivanka, 38 is one of president Donald Trump’s five children alongside sons Donald Trump Jr, Eric Trump, and Barron Trump and daughter Tiffany Trump.

Ms Wilkoff played a key role in Mr Trump’s inauguration and was also an unpaid adviser afterwards.

She later resigned due to controversies surrounding how the inauguration was funded.

She has also denied reports claiming she was paid $26 million for her work with the Trump administration.

The former adviser to Mrs Trump said she was “thrown under the bus”.
