No spoilers here, but fans of the show have also been given a small taste of what could have been revealed after the season finale’s game-changing cliffhanger.
The showrunner teased: “As for this next season, there were more answers to the question, why were the children of New Ham taken and how might they find their way home.
“And, triggered by an event that has (quite by accident) eerie parallels to the current crisis, the citizens of New Ham would have found themselves spiraling toward war with each other.”
After barely scratching the surface of New Ham’s intriguing mysteries, fans have their fingers crossed Keyser and co. can find a way to continue the story in a second season of The Society.
