Riley Gale dead: Tributes pour in as Power Trip singer dies at 34: 'I'm shook to my core'

Fans of the late singer have taken to social media to honour his memory, sharing how he inspired them and impacted music throughout his career.

He was just 22 when he formed the hugely popular Texas born band, juggling an office job and attending the University of North Texas.

Featuring Gale on vocals, Chris Ulsh on drums, bass player Chris Whetzel and Blake Ibanez and Nick Stewart on guitars, in 2013 the band signed with the Southern Lord Records label and soon released two albums, Manifest Decimation and 2017’s Nightmare Logic.

They most recently dropped another live album earlier this year.

In an interview with Revolver in 2018, Gale said of their success: “It’s a mystery to me that we’re as big as we are.
