Charlotte Hawkins, 45, has been at the centre of wardrobe discussions over the past few weeks after her Good Morning Britain co-host Adil Ray outed her for wearing odd shoes on the show. It’s become a talking point between fans and the on-air team and now even more of her ITV co-stars are getting in on the joke.
On Monday, poor Charlotte was mocked again for her outfit choice by weather presenter Alex Beresford, who compared her to the infamous GMB turquoise carpet.
Taking to Twitter during an advert break, she shared a behind the scenes snap of her and Adil sorting their scripts, with a cheeky photobomb from Alex in the background.
“Good morning! Come & join us on @GMB, I’m here with @adilray til 9am & thanks @alexberesfordTV for pointing out I’ve come dressed as the carpet this morning…” she captioned the photo.
Fans were quick to comment on her colourful outfit and liked the matching ensemble.

Replying to a fan who queried who would be presenting Monday morning’s show, he said: “Odd shoe @CharlotteHawkns and me tomorrow,” debuting his new name for his co-host.
Charlotte was quick to spot the cheeky swipe as she realised the mocking would never end.
“I’m never going to live it down, am I @adilray?!” she moaned, as fans urged her to “get something on him” so they could be “even”.
Meanwhile Adil was getting compliments on his creative endearment.
