PSG vs Bayern LIVE: Team news and line ups confirmed, Champions League final latest

Up for it?

They certainly are in Paris. I’ve just had a quick watch of the video below and the PSG supporters aren’t sitting quietly on the sofa. Flares, chanting and even the odd fella climbing a lamppost. Scenes.

I’m sure they are doing more than drinking steins wearing lederhosen in Munich but I’ve yet to source a video.

Evening…

Hello everyone and welcome to our LIVE coverage of Paris Saint-Germain vs Bayern Munich from Estadio da Luz in Lisbon.

We’ve made it, folks. Give yourselves a pat on the back. The competition, which started in June 2019, finally reaches a climax.

And in the red corner – established in February 1900 and weighing in with FIVE Champions League/European Cup titles – Bayern Munich.

In the blue corner – established in 1970 and weighing in with ZERO European Cup titles – Paris Saint-Germain.

Will the in-form and ruthless German heavyweights deliver a knockout blow or can PSG, in true Alexander Povetkin style, land a glorious left upper-cut to secure an upset of sorts.

We’re about to find out. Standby for team news, line ups and many, many facts…

PSG vs BAYERN | TEAM NEWS

Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick is unsure whether defender Jerome Boateng will be available for tonight’s Champions League final.

The 31-year-old will undergo a late fitness test having been withdrawn during the semi-final victory over Lyon.

Defender Benjamin Pavard, 24, will also be assessed.

“I talked to him this morning and he is going to be part of the final practice session,” said Flick.

“I’m pleased that Benjamin has managed to be with us and I’m sure that he’s 100 per cent fit. However, Saturday will be another test and after that, I’ll consider the options with my team.”

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas is likely to start between the sticks having missed game against RB Leipzig.
