How Anthony Joshua reacted to heavyweight rival Dillian Whyte’s brutal KO loss to Povetkin

“Dillian’s a fighter, so I’m sticking with him as a fighter to say dust yourself off, get back up and go again.

Joshua questioned why Whyte didn’t go all-out for the stoppage in the fourth round when he had Povetkin hurt, but explained that if he had, he could easily have been caught by the Russian.

“The fight was called maximum violence, so when [Whyte] had the chance to take him out, I wanted to see that maximum violence,” he continued.

“That’s why, for me, when I smell blood I go in there to take someone out.
