PS Plus September 2020 free games latest as new NBA 2K21 packs revealed

Sony will be revealing its latest PS Plus September 2020 free games lineup next week and have already confirmed something new for next month. As usual, at least two PS4 games will be made available to download for free as part of an ongoing PlayStation Plus. There have been no leaks or hints yet on what these might be and with so many to choose from, it could be anything. Sony has been offering strong lineups throughout 2020 and September 2019’s weren’t a bix mix either.

Last year, the tech giant announced its PS Plus plans on August 28, confirming that Batman: Arkham Knight and Darksiders 3 would be the headliners.

So there’s a good chance that some more big titles will be revealed for PS Plus subscribers during September 2020.

Until Sony chooses to announce its plans, gamers can find out more regarding other promotions going on.

As part of an NBA 2K21 MyTeam announcement, it was revealed that PS Plus gamers will have access to a number of MyTeam promo packs each month.

PS4 gamers will have a number of ways to earn promo packs each month, and it sounds like the promotion will be starting next month.

Each pack will contain an NBA player to add to your team and some lucky gamers will probably snag some of the best available at launch.

A message from the NBA 2K development team explains: “For those of you pre-ordering your copy of NBA 2K21 through PlayStation Store, we have some really cool packs in store for you! Specifically, with the purchase of any edition of the game through the PlayStation Store, you’ll receive two free MyTeam promo packs.

“PlayStation Plus members will also receive three MyTeam promo packs per month for 10 months! That’s 30 packs for those of you counting at home.

“Pre-ordering the Standard Edition of NBA 2K21 alone grants you 10 free Promo Packs, allocated at one pack per week. If you decide to go with the Mamba Forever edition, you will be granted 40 free Promo Packs, allocated as 10 on the first day you play, and then three per week for the next 10 weeks.

“So what’s in these Promo Packs? Every pack will grant you an NBA player to add to your team.

“Beyond that, there will be rare pulls in these packs that will be some of the best cards in the game at launch! One that I have been playing with and loving recently is Diamond DeMarcus Cousins.

“We all need a little Boogie in our lives, right? Point being, these packs aren’t something you should overlook. They will not only give you a player in every pack, but they also have a chance to give you one of the best cards in the game at launch.”

NBA 2K21 has a release date set on PS4 for Friday, September 4, 2020.
