Queen and Adam Lambert announce first live ALBUM: ‘It’s the perfect time’ says Brian May

It’s been over a decade since they began their iconic collaboration and now Queen and Adam Lambert are finally releasing a live album together. Titled Live Around The World, the record will be released worldwide on October 2nd on CD, CD/DVD, CD/Blu-ray and Vinyl. After the pandemic saw the band forced to postpone its UK and Europe tour dates, the band felt it was “the perfect time”.

After all, the Queen and Adam Lambert Tour Watch Party on YouTube saw an hour-long show of their live highlights from previous tours.

With 218 shows in 42 countries for over 3.5 million people, there was certainly a lot to choose from.

And following over half a million views in 24 hours, the band saw that a live album just made alot of sense.

Queen drummer Roger Taylor said: “We hadn’t really watched those clips before, we were always too busy touring. We weren’t aware of how good the band sounded.”
