Tracy Morgan and his estranged wife Megan each filed for divorce at the end of July.
The couple outwardly appeared to be on the same page with their split – submitting divorce documents within one day of each other – but the actor has made a bizarre request of his ex.
In documents, the 51-year-old star expressed his desire for Megan, 33, to be required to stop using his last name after their divorce is finalized, TMZ reported.

According to the filing, the former SNL star wants Megan to agree to change her last name back from Morgan to her maiden name Wollover.
An odd request, especially considering the fact that Tracy’s first wife Sabina – who he was married to from 1987-2009 – seems to still go by the surname Morgan.
The couple, who announced their split in July, are also reportedly not seeing eye-to-eye over custody of their seven-year-old daughter Maven Sonae.
Megan wants sole legal and physical custody of the child, she stated in her divorce filing according to Page Six. But Morgan then filed his response requesting joint legal and shared residential custody of their daughter, according to documents seen by the site.

The site also claimed that in the court papers, ‘she made it clear she wants the prenuptial agreement put forth which states that she is obligated to alimony payments as well as child support for their daughter.’
Paying for her legal fees was also mentioned in the documents, it was claimed.
The prenup was signed on August 5, 2015. The two tied the knot just 14 months after he was left fighting for his life following the horrific bus crash that killed his friend James McNair.
‘Sadly, after nearly five years of marriage, Megan and I are filing for divorce,’ Morgan said in a statement. ‘This is a challenging time for all involved, so I ask that you please respect our privacy.’

Tracy announced his engagement to Megan while walking the red carpet at the Emmy Awards in September 2012, and it later seemed that his near-death experience prompted the couple to get married after their long engagement.
‘We have been through so much and our love is stronger for it,’ Tracy told PEOPLE Magazine at the time of his wedding, adding that he was determined to get through physical therapy in order to walk down the aisle without the assistance of a cane or a wheelchair.
On June 7, 2014, Tracy was a passenger in a Mercedes Sprinter minibus involved in a six-vehicle crash just after 1:00am as the vehicle was traveling northbound on the New Jersey Turnpike near Cranbury.
Tracy’s minibus was struck from behind by a tractor-trailer operated by a Wal-Mart driver, causing a chain reaction crash, leaving him with critical injuries and tragically killing comedian James McNair, 62, known as ‘Jimmy Mac.’

The actor actually went on to credit his now estranged wife Megan for being his inspiration to recover fully from the accident.
Talking to People about prior to his wedding in 2015, Tracy said: ‘I don’t want to walk my wife down the aisle with a cane or in a wheelchair.’
He added: ‘So I had to go hard with the therapy I had to get better. There was no ifs, ands or buts about it.’
Tracy was previously married to ex Sabina with whom he shares three adult children, Gitrid Morgan, 34, Malcolm Morgan, 32 and Tracy Morgan Jr., 28.
