Sebastian Vettel lifts lid on Ferrari radio confusion after Spanish Grand Prix seventh

Vettel appeared to be much more comfortable in his Ferrari, which had a new chassis fitted earlier this week.

He said the burden of performing better was now on his shoulders with his SF1000 much more manageable in Spain.

“Mixed, to be honest, it’s still up and down,” said Vettel, when asked for his thoughts on the weekend as a whole. “Some sessions feel better than others.

“The first stint was quite poor. The second stint, I felt much more in control of the car. Still, I think, some work to do on my side.”

Vettel moved up to 10th in the drivers’ standings thanks to his seventh-place finish, while team-mate Charles Leclerc remained fourth despite his retirement at the Spanish Grand Prix.
