Epic Games has confirmed that some Fortnite servers are down tonight across a number of platforms.
Reports started coming in at around 1am that there were issues accessing Battle Royale lobbies.
This was followed by an official report from Epic Games, who confirmed that some regional Fortnite servers are down.
A message from Epic Games confirms that they are looking into problems affecting Fortnite gamers in parts of the United States, telling fans on Twitter: “We are investigating matchmaking issues for players in the NA-East region.
“We will update you once this is resolved.”
It’s unclear what is causing tonight’s outage or how long it might last for those affected on PS4, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC and Mobile.
As some gamers are pointing, it is possible to change your server location by accessing the right option screen.
However, with Epic Games looking into the problem, it might not be long until everything is back online and working again.
