LEGO and Super Mario have combined worlds, bringing the iconic moustachioed hero to life and offering a reimagined level of gameplay.

The colourful LEGO Super Mario Adventures collection has fast become an Amazon bestseller and will probably be at the top of many Super Mario fans’ Christmas lists this year too.

There are nine fun and exciting box sets to collect in total, including the £49.99 LEGO Super Mario Starter Course set and eight expansion sets: Bowser’s castle, Toad’s Treasure Hunt, Super Mario House and Yoshi, Boomer Bill Barrage, Pirahna Plant Power Slide, Whomp’s Lava Trouble, Desert Pokey, and Guarded Fortress. Expansion set prices range from £17.99 up to £90.

Bundle sets can also be picked up for £164.99 for the Starter course set and two expansion sets, or £260.80 for the starter course set and four bundle sets.

There are also four different Power Up Packs for Mario to change into, including a Fire Mario suit, Propellor Mario suit, Cat Mario suit, and Builder Mario suit, each available for £8.99.

The LEGO Mario figure included in the Starter Course set uses a Bluetooth connection and Motion Sensor technology to interact with the course. The figure features colour sensors, plus LCD screens in his eyes, mouth and belly to display over 100 different instant reactions to movement. A speaker also plays Mario sound effects and music from the video game.

The Starter Course set comes with 231 pieces to build with, including a Baby Bowser figure and Goomba figure, plus seven interactive action bricks.
