Kim Kardashian and Kanye West took some time out of their hectic lives to focus on their marriage last week.
The power couple – who wed in 2014 and have four children together – flew off in a private jet to a remote island to talk things out after he had a Twitter meltdown that included bringing up how there was talk of aborting North West and also that he had tried to divorce the icon.
According to multiple sources, the talks went well and now both are much ‘happier.’

‘They had a good family week in the Dominican Republic. They are continuing the family vacation in Colorado,’ a source told People. ‘Kim and Kanye are getting along. They both seem much happier.’
It was added: ‘He is really enjoying his family time right now. Honestly he’s in a great place and feeling creatively inspired.’
As far as the trip, ‘they decided to travel together so they can be away in private. Between the kids, work, and dealing with Kanye’s bipolar episodes, it’s been hard for her to think clearly.’
UsWeekly’s source stated: ‘Kanye’s in a great place. He’s feeling creatively inspired and enjoying his family time.’

People added that it was Kanye’s idea to go on a vacation together and Kim agreed. That came just after Justin Bieber urged West to contact his wife and apologize to her, which he did.
On Friday, West shared a sweet video from the getaway where he and North stepped out of their golf cart to dance to Push The Feeling On by Nightcrawlers. Kim was seen chuckling as she watched them move.

The two took off early last week with all four kids – North, seven, Saint, four, Chicago, two, and Psalm, one – and landed on Sunday in Miami.

In early August Kim was seen crying as she visited the rapper in Cody, Wyoming as it looked like their marriage would end.
On July 22, Kim made a statement about Kanye, 43.

As recently as Thursday, Kanye took to Twitter to double down on his run for the presidency and to remind his following that ‘THE GOAL IS TO WIN.’
Last month, West announced that he was officially entering the presidential race and has since made his way onto several state ballots as an independent candidate.
But TMZ reported Friday that Kanye will not appear on the ballot in Illinois after 1,928 of his 3,128 signatures on his petition were deemed ‘invalid’ after careful review.
West is now ‘more than a thousand short of the 2,500 needed to be a Presidential candidate’ on Illinois’ ballots.
