Chris Evans, 54, teased that his wife Natasha, 39, might be pregnant again on Friday’s show after he was pressured to reveal a “big secret” he’d been keeping. The radio presenter joked that he and Tash could be expecting again, but afterwards confessed that it wasn’t the secret he was talking about.

After teasing his co-star Rachel Horne that he was keeping something important under wraps, she became suspicious.

“I have an absolutely massive secret,” he whispered down the mic.

“I’ve told absolutely no one!”

Rachel retorted: “Well, he knows!” pointing at their fellow reporter Vassos Alexander.

Chris denied that he had spilled the beans to anyone but Rachel was adamant he had a slither of intel.

“He knows of its existence,” she moaned jokingly, as Vassos laughed at the fact that he announced it to his whole audience.

“You might as well go for it, I need specifics,” Rachel giggled.

Chris smirked: “You’re not going to get them!”

He added: “Not that I have any say in the matter… because…. that’s not it!” he trailed off, realising he was digging himself a hole that might prove difficult to get out of.

But it appears to have all been in jest and that he and Tash don’t have big announcement to make, which may disappoint some fans!

The couple already share four children together, 11-year-old Noah, seven-year-old Eli and two-year-old twins Walt and Boo, who they welcomed in December of 2018.

But listeners might have an inkling about what the big secret could be, as Chris made it known their wedding anniversary is coming up.

The former BBC host revealed he and Tash have two; 12 August when they tied to knot at a registry office in Guildford and then a big guest-studded do on 15 August in Portugal.

Recently, Chris revealed that the pair don’t celebrate either date, but he’s gone against the grain and arranged something for this year.

He wouldn’t share his plans on-air, though!

The Chris Evans Breakfast Show continues weekdays at 6.30am on Virgin Radio.
