Charley Webb addresses family 'struggle' as Emmerdale star announces new TV debut

Emmerdale actress Charley Webb, 32, tied the knot with husband and co-star Matthew Wolfenden, 40 in 2018. The soap star, who has played the role of Debbie Dingle in the ITV soap since 2002, shares three children with her husband Matthew; Buster, 10, Bowie, four, and 11-month-old Ace.

Charley took some time out to chat with fans on Instagram as the small-screen star took a “road trip” with her husband.

The soap star was quizzed on her home life as she addressed the “chaos” she faced during the nationwide lockdown following the coronavirus pandemic.

The Debbie Dingle actress also revealed her latest plans away from Emmerdale as she announced she was on her way to film for the new series of Rylan Clark-Neal’s Supermarket Sweep.

In view of her 467,000 followers, Charley mused: “Hello, we’re on a road trip. Hours of road trip. I’ve got my pillow and Matt’s gone in for a Starbucks. I’m in full comfy’s and I’ve got my cup of tea and my slippers so I am fully prepped.

The Debbie Dingle star later took to her Instagram stories and chatted about her time filming for the ITV game show.

“Just got back to the hotel, such a long afternoon but the best,” Charley explained.

“I had so much fun and I can’t wait for you all to see it. It was brilliant and Rylan is the best.”

She continued: “He is the best in the business and I love him. I’m going to get some sleep,” before adding: “It’s the first time I’ve left Ace so I’m feeling a bit weird.”
