Selling Sunset season 4 Netflix release date: Will there be another series?

Selling Sunset season three was released this morning, Friday, August 7, on Netflix. There are eight episodes in the latest series, with more arguments and extraordinary houses than ever before. A major storyline this time around though involves real estate agent Chrishell Stause.

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Selling Sunset.

Selling Sunset teased at the end of series two that Chrishell would be talking about her divorce from husband This Is Us actor Justin Hartley.

In the short clip, a teary-eyed Chrishell was seen saying how she was “blindsighted” by the break-up.

For the first half of the series, there didn’t seem to be anything wrong with Chrishell carrying on like normal and even talking about having children with Justin.

But it was at the end of episode five that the agents found out the heartbreaking news.

The day after a charity event organised by Chrishell, Christine Quinn received a news alert saying how actor Hartley had filed for divorce.

In the following episode, Chrishell is seen having a heart to heart with friend and colleague Mary Fitzgerald about the situation.

She admits how they had an argument over the phone the day before but didn’t see each other to make-up.

Chrishell then received a text from him saying he had filed and 45 minutes later, it was all over the news, devastating the Selling Sunset star.

With many questions left unanswered at the end of the series, fans are already asking if there will be another season.

Christine Quinn told Grazia magazine in July about what the renewal process for Selling Sunset has been so far.

She said: “So usually we get picked up after the show airs, you know, we’ll hear some information, some rumblings.

“With season two being in the top ten [on Netflix], I think we’re definitely going to get picked up.”

As Selling Sunset season three, going by Christine’s theory, fans could be hearing any day now about the future of the show.

Nevertheless, that doesn’t meant a fourth season will be on our screens any quicker.

If Selling Sunset was to return for another series, filming will be delayed thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.

Christine added: “We’re going to shoot next year, now, I’m hearing.

“We have such a big production, there’s so many people on our crew. I don’t think we’d be filming this year.”

So will fans really have to wait until 2021 for more new episodes of Selling Sunset?

Selling Sunset is available to watch on Netflix.
