Max Verstappen's verdict on whether Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes dominance is bad for F1

“We just keep pushing and keep trying of course to make it better, the overall pace of the car.”

Verstappen will pit himself against Hamilton, Bottas and the rest of his rivals at the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix on Sunday.

The Dutchman said he will be out to get the better of them at Silverstone as F1 marks seven decades of elite-level racing.

“Mercedes are doing an incredible job, and you also have to accept that,” said Verstappen. “That doesn’t mean that I don’t want to beat them.

“Every opportunity I will get in the coming races where there is a chance, I will of course go for it and try to beat them.”
