Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour to reopen to visitors this month with new rules

Warner Bros. popular London Studio Tour – The Making of Harry Potter will be reopening to visitors with a reduced capacity from August 20, in an exciting moment for Potter fans. The welcome move will allow fans to step back into the Wizarding World and explore the creation of the popular movie franchise. But there’s even more good news for keen visitors.

From tomorrow at 1pm, fans will be able to book tickets online for visits up to June 31 2021.

The Studio Tour is still a pre-book attraction with tickets for a timed tour only being allowed to be booked in advance.

To make sure everyone remains safe, a number of additional measures and changes have been made to the Studio Tour experience.

You might have to be quick though, as they are now opening with a reduced capacity to help encourage social distancing.

Additional signage and floor markings will also be in place to promote social distancing and allow visitors to navigate the Studio Tour safely.

Enhanced cleaning will take place throughout the day and hand sanitiser stations will be positioned throughout the Studio Tour.

Some areas of the Studio Tour may be unavailable to limit contact and maintain social distancing.

To further limit contact, the Studio Tour’s shops and cafés will only accept cashless or contactless payment options such as credit and debit cards or mobile payments.

When they reopen, visitors will experience the Studio Tour’s special feature which is called, “A Celebration of Slytherin”.

For the first time ever, visitors will be able to visit the Slytherin Common Room.

The Great Hall will also be decorated in Slytherin colours.

A 25-foot section of the set complete with exciting authentic props and stone walls will be on display for visitors.

The Studio Tour London has been given Visit England’s “We’re Good To Go” industry standard.

This means they are putting clear coronavirus measures in place.

Government COVID-19 guidance on cleanliness and social distancing are also being followed, so you can visit with peace of mind.
