Boohoo probe to quiz factory staff about working conditions in Leicester sweatshop
Factory staff supplying tainted online fashion giant Boohoo have been urged to talk about working conditions in Leicester.
Alison Levitt QC, the barrister leading an independent review into allegations of modern slavery which have rocked the fast fashion brand, has issued a public call for evidence.
She wants to know about working conditions, what Boohoo knew about them and suggestions about how to improve them.

Workers including current and former factory staff, supervisors and managers, employees of Boohoo Group companies and inspectors are being asked to come forward.
Those with any information have been told they can speak anonymously and in ‘languages other than English’.
A Sunday Times probe found staff were paid as little as £3.50 an hour, well below the £8.72 minimum wage for staff aged 25 and over.
Clothes made in the factory were reportedly made under the Nasty Gal label.
