Man Utd transfer breakthrough as Jadon Sancho agrees personal terms for Old Trafford move

Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement in principle to sign Jadon Sancho on a five-year contract. United long been the frontrunners for Sancho’s signature with rival clubs unable to meet Borussia Dortmund’s demands.

The Bundesliga outfit are refusing to budge on their £108million valuation, but it appears as though United are edging closer to completing a deal.

Dortmund have set United a deadline of August 10 to complete a transfer so Lucien Havre can move forward with his squad when pre-season begins.

That has seemingly sped up negotiations between United and Dortmund, with talks said to be at an “advanced stage”.

United are unlikely to pay £108m up front though, with instalments and add-ons likely to make up the full price.
