Basketball legend Magic Johnson was mobbed by fans last night after he stepped off a $150million yacht at a Croatian harbour last night.
The Los Angeles Lakers Hall of Famer stepped off the 280ft ‘Aquila’ in Split to a chorus of cheers as people of all ages crowded for selfies.
Hundreds had arrived at the docks after a rumour spread late last week that it was another NBA great, Michael Jordan, who was heading to the city.
But it was the 60-year-old Johnson, dressed from head-to-toe in Gucci, who emerged from the $945,000-per-week yacht with his wife Cookie, 61, at around 10pm on Sunday.

Magic got off the yacht in front of the Meduro bar, where such vessels are usually moored, and as information about his arrival spread throughout Split, hundreds of fans gathered.
The likable and always smiling basketball player was ready to take photos with everyone who asked for it, and he also talked with the locals.
The area near the boat quickly became really crowded, but Magic did not appear phased by the crowd or by the fact that almost none of the people who came to see him wore a mask or kept an appropriate distance.
Magic arrived on the mainland after visiting the island of Brač, according to local media.
This time last year Magic was cruising around the Mediterranean on the same yacht with his friends LL Cool J, Steve Harvey, Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney.
The vacation vessel is manned by a 28-strong crew and has rooms for up to 12 guests and also has its own built-in nightclub.
