Just moments into today’s Good Morning Britain, Ben found himself addressing ITV viewers about a slight blunder committed by his co-host. Reading out the different interviews and segments to come on the show, Ben felt obliged to explain any slight interruptions viewer may have heard were a result of Kate’s phone going off while the cameras were rolling.
Kate and Ben had just been mentioning how Kate’s former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! campmate Caitlyn Jenner would be appearing on the show.
As GMB thengot underway, Ben said: “Good Morning Britain, it’s just gone six o’clock. I’m not sure if you noticed that,
“But literally as Kate was talking about Caitlyn Jenner, her phone pinged.”
Admitting to the mishap, Kate replied: “Yep, my bottom buzzed, I bet it was Caitlyn saying ‘ooo’.”

Kate continued to protest but instead of getting the show back on track, Ben instead turned to weather reporter Alex Beresford for back-up.
“Can we just have consensus,” Ben continued as Kate slumped her shoulder and looked at the camera.
Turning to the weatherman, Ben asked: “Alex, was the phone off?”
Kate bit her lip as Alex weighed in: “I don’t think it was Kate, sorry.”
However, Kate diverted attention away from the phone blunder as she took issue with the fact this was the first time Alex had spoken to her all morning.
“Alex, you’re over there!” Kate snapped, before adding: “And hello by the way.
“I haven’t seen you face to face and your first hello to Kate is to take sides!”
