A Place In The Sun's Laura Hamilton finally returns to filming after coronavirus U-turn

TV star Laura Hamilton, 38, looked incredible in her most recent Instagram post. The A Place in the Sun presenter is currently in Greece filming new episodes of the Channel 4 property show, after her six-week work trip to Spain was cut short.

On Monday morning, Laura took to the picture-sharing site to document her first day back at work and couldn’t hide her delight at being back.

“This is the face of someone who is happy to be back helping make people’s dreams come true,” she told her 88,000 followers alongside a picture of herself.

Laura was positively glowing in the social media snap which accompanied her post.

The beautiful blonde wore her short tresses loose for her stint on TV and wowed in an off-the-shoulder black and white spotty dress which clung onto her curves.

The television star completed her summer ensemble with a pair of black wedges to compliment her outfit.

Mum-of-two Laura and her family are staying at the beautiful Kassandra Palace Hotel & Spa during their trip, while the presenter gets to work with helping people find their dream properties in the sunshine.

Sharing a bit more information, she added: “This week’s house search in and around Kassandra, Greece has begun… and this is the face of someone who is happy to be back helping make people’s dreams come true @aplaceinthesunofficial.”

Laura was originally meant to be filming in Spain, but had to fly to Greece after the country was added to the non-essential travel list.

In an earlier post, when the rules changed, she explained: “You’re on the flight on your way over and you get notified once you’re airborne that if you return home from Spain now you have to quarantine for two weeks.

“Not only that, but Spain also isn’t on the safe list and any non-essential travel to Spain isn’t advised.”

Laura told fans the cast and crew were following safety measures after relocating to Greece.

“The production and crew are doing an amazing job of following all the new protocols @channel4,” she said.

She added: “I’m so proud to be part of a show that has brought a lot of enjoyment, sunshine and positivity to so many people, not only over the last few months in lockdown, but for years! #filming #makingdreamscometrue #property #greece #tapfortags #threads.”

On the way to record her first piece to camera, Laura gave her Instagram followers an update.

“Just a little bit excited,” she said.

A short while later she returned to her Instagram story to share a panoramic look at the stunning beachside filming location.

Clearly delighted to be back at work, she said: “We just filmed our opening chat and a few pieces to camera in this beautiful location.

“So happy to be back filming, it’s so good.”
