PS Now August 2020 WARNING with PS Plus free games release

Sony will reveal its plans for new PS Now games in August later this week, with around three new additions expected.

The good news is that even if we don’t know what new PS4 games will be added to mix, we do know when exactly this will be happening..

The only downside is that a few titles will also be disappearing from the PlayStation Now platform later this month.

This means there is only a short period left to play those games which will be disappearing from the lineup later this week.

Based on the normal schedule, the latest PS Now is expected to be announced on Tuesday, August 4, 2020.

This is the same day that the new PS Plus games will be released onto the PlayStation Store and is part of a bigger PSN refresh.

The new PS Plus games arriving in August includes the following titles:

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

Survive a series of hilarious challenges until one victor remains in this colorful 60-person online multiplayer party game!

Test your mettle in brutal free-for-alls or co-op challenges where only the winning team advances to the next round. Bend, bounce and bash your way through hilarious physics-based obstacles, from smashing through doors, to balancing on massive see-saws, to racing up mountains riddled with traps. Add a touch of style to your Fall Guy by customizing them with everything from classy pineapple couture to flattering prehistoric fashion.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will be available to download Tuesday, August 4, until Monday August 31.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered

Relive the incredible single-player campaign from 2009 blockbuster Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, fully remastered for a new generation.

Following immediately on from the dramatic events of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered immerses you in a gripping, action-driven adventure in which you must face off against a deadly new threat hellbent on bringing the world to the brink of collapse.

The single-player campaign has been fully remastered with improved textures, animations, physically based rendering, high-dynamic range lighting and much more.

Rediscover classic missions like Cliffhanger, The Gulag and Whiskey Hotel as you once again join Soap, Price, Ghost and the rest of Task Force 141 in a globe-spanning fight to restore order to the world. Underwater Demo Team Classic Ghost Bundle not included.

It should be noted that while Fall Guys is being released on August 4, MW2 Remastered is already available to download.

Up until the Tuesday refresh, PS Plus gamers will be able to download the current games, which include NBA 2K20 Tomb Raider and Erica.

PS NOW GAMES LEAVING AUGUST

As confirmed by Sony earlier this year, games added to PS Now will sometimes only be available for a limited time.

Meanwhile, some games can only be downloaded on PlayStation consoles, while others remain stream-only.

The games being removed on August 4 include the following:

LEGO WORLDS

Lego Worlds is an open environment of procedurally-generated Worlds made entirely of Lego bricks which you can freely manipulate and dynamically populate with Lego models. Create anything you can imagine one brick at a time, or use large-scale landscaping tools and pre-fabricated structures to customize any world to your liking. Explore using helicopters, dragons, motorbikes or even gorillas. In Lego Worlds, anything is possible.

It should also be noted that other games are scheduled to leave the PS Now platform in August, however, these changes won’t be happening until the very end of the month.
