China threat: President Xi 'acting like Hitler' and stole £458billion of data, says expert

China’s Huawei 5G technology has been scrapped from many countries across the globe as US President Donald Trump announced he wants to ban the China-owned app, TikTok. Morgan Wright, the Chief Security Adviser at SentinelOne, warned anyone who disagrees with the country is a target. He went on to explain that China is tracking behaviours online to find individuals to target which he believes is like how Hitler treated people.

Speaking to LBC, Mr Wright said: “Anything that comes out of China, I actually don’t trust it at all.

“I was working at Cisco at a time when Huawei stole all of our code from one of our routers and folks from Cisco had to testify before Congress and they actually filed injunctions against the Chinese because they were stealing things.

“In the US, every year the trade report says China is responsible for the theft of $600billion of intellectual property.”

He added: “Anybody who’s in conflict with the Chinese Communist Party, anybody who disagrees with them is a target.

“They have figured out how to use technology to create an electronic tracking system.

“They have now figured out a way through people’s activity and their behaviours online and where they associate to determine the type of political or religious views of a person and they become a target.

“They’re using technology to do what Hitler was doing back in the day.

“Instead of rounding people up based on where they live and how they look, they’re now doing it through technology but make no mistake they’re doing the exact same thing Hitler was doing.”

In an online press conference, Mr Liu said: “China respects UK sovereignty and has never interfered in the UK’s internal affairs.

“It is important the UK will do the same – namely, respect China’s sovereignty and stop interfering in Hong Kong’s affairs, which are China’s internal affairs, so as to avoid further damage to the China-UK relationship.”

The imposition of a new national security law led to the Government opening the door to British National (Overseas) passport-holders in the territory to come to the UK, and the suspension of extradition arrangements.

China has threatened not to recognise the BN(O) passport as a valid travel document.
