Carlos King Spills Details ABout When He Knew RHOA Would Be A Hit — Says His Biggest Disappointment Was The Fight Between Porsha Williams And Kenya Moore

Carlos King is responsible for so many of Real Housewives of Atlanta’s most iconic moments. The producer recently revealed what made him get into the TV biz and opened up about his lowest moment.

Fans of RHOA have been underwhelmed by some of the drama as of lately. They made suggestions that the executives call back Carlos to produce again and would like Phaedra Parks to full-time.

However, Carlos has been plagued by rumors that he was the one that started that malicious storyline that Kandi Burruss was planning to drug and sexually assault Porsha Williams — which he says isn’t true.

King has gone on to produce multiple successful reality shows but is asked about RHOA the most. In a conversation with Sip and See captured by All About the Tea, he revealed it all.

You can thank MTV’s The Hills for inspiring him to get into reality TV.

He explained when he realized that the Atlanta ladies had an instant hit on their hands.

‘The moment I knew I loved this genre and that this show was going to be iconic, I was at Sheree’s party and as the producer you are assigned to different cast members. I was assigned to NeNe (Leakes). My job was to just follow whatever NeNe was doing. So I was there when Kim (Zolciak) and her had that moment at the gas station, remember that? Then we followed them to Sheree’s party. I was standing outside because my job was to be behind NeNe. Whatever NeNe does I gotta follow her with my camera crew. So When NeNe did not get in the party and that whole commotion happened, I spoke to my girl and I said this is going to be the best show we’ve ever done in our lives. I promise you. I feel it.’

As amazing as putting the show on was, it also had its not-so-great moments.

King explained that the reunion fight between Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore was the worst.

He wanted to stop Porsha from putting her hands on Moore but it was already too late. He knew that Williams would instantly regret it.
