MTV VMA nominations 2020: Lady Gaga leads the way – FULL list of who can vote for

MTV’s biggest award ceremony of the year, the VMAs, or the Video Music Awards, are always a popular event. With major controversies and huge live performances at every awards ceremony, they always leave their mark. Of course, viewers of MTV have a huge say in who wins as the awards are voted for by the public – so who are the nominees?

Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande are, as many would expect, leading the way with the most nominations.

As well as them, young Billie Eilish is looking to storm ahead once again in the awards as she too is in the running to take home a huge number of gongs.

Among the men, The Weeknd is a big star whose work may pay off if he wins some VMAs this year.

Grande and Gaga have nine nominations each, while Eilish and The Weeknd have six nominations each.

Unlike many award shows, the VMAs is gender neutral in its categories, meaning there is no sign of Best Female or Male Artist in the pack.

Instead, the categories are even tougher, as all artists are fighting each other regardless of gender.
