Tory Lanez just had his 28th birthday, but as fans of the performing artist know, his last few weeks haven’t exactly been something to celebrate. Tory and Megan Thee Stallion were all over the headlines after it was reported that the former had shot her in the foot.
Hot New Hip Hop said today that on the rapper’s birthday, many fans and commenters have been posting memes making fun of his situation on social media.
For instance, one meme features a cartoon picture of a group of people asking Tory to come out of his house so they could wish him a happy birthday, however, it’s clear they’re looking for blood.
The news couldn’t have come at a worse time for Tory, considering he was riding high before the reports of the shooting came out. For instance, he reigned as the Quarantine King for his Quarantine Radio series.
Moreover, the artist managed to become independent after breaking free from his previous record label, Interscope. Tory also announced he would be dropping a number of projects on his own record label. Fans were eager to see what he had in store.

Earlier this week, Megan Thee Stallion also took to her social media to address the reports and the memes once again. She looked visibly upset by what she had seen and experienced. In fact, even 50 Cent apologized for making fun of her, something the rapper has rarely ever done.
When it comes to Tory, on the other hand, social media users are not exactly waiting for an apology. Petitioners have even urged for the Canadian rapper’s deportation out of the United States of America.
The social media reaction was initially quite mixed, with many urging for people to be more serious about what happened to Megan Thee Stallion. Others took the opportunity to create memes and jokes at both parties’ expense.

Since the reports came out, Tory still hasn’t said anything publicly, and the police are reportedly still investigating. He was initially charged with gun possession.
