RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 – UPDATE THREE: Rockstar Games has revealed the full patch notes for the RDR2 update 1.20 which brings tonnes of new content to Red Dead Online.

The patch notes reveal Story Mode improvements to Red Dead Redemption 2 as well as the new Naturalist Specialist Role for Red Dead Online.

RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 SUMMER UPDATE – UPDATE TWO: Today’s big Red Dead Online download for RDR2 has just been released by Rockstar Games for the PS4, Xbox One and PCs.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 summer update weighs in at 5GB on PS4, 4.69GB on the Xbox One and just over 5GB on PCs.

RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 SUMMER UPDATE – UPDATE ONE: Rockstar Games will today release a a major new patch for RDR2 Online, with the launch time fast approaching.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 summer update will bring with it a new Outlaw Pass and a new Frontier Pursuit among many other things to Red Dead Online.

Full patch notes will be released later today. Rockstar Games as of yet haven’t confirmed a start time for the Red Dead Redemption 2 summer update.

But latest predictions in a post from the Red Dead News Twitter account have given predicted timings for when the major RDR2 Online download will be released.

For Red Dead Online fans in the UK the Red Dead Redemption 2 summer update is expected to have a launch time between 10am and 2pm BST.

While for those in the States it’s between 5am and 9am eastern time, and 2am to 6am pacific time.

Australian gamers in Sydney could get the Red Dead Redemption 2 summer update between 7pm and 11pm and those in Singapore could get the RDR2 download between 5pm and 9pm.

ORIGINAL: Red Dead Redemption 2 summer update is launching soon, with Rockstar Games set to drop a blockbuster patch for RDR2 Online this week.

Last Thursday the GTA and Red Dead makers announced two major patches heading to their biggest games this summer.

First up is the Red Dead Redemption 2 summer update which will be out on Tuesday July 28.

In the Rockstar Games newswire post the gaming giant gave RDR2 fans a taster of what will be included in the Red Dead Redemption 2 summer update.

The main headline additions will be the inclusion of a new Frontier Pursuit, a brand new Role and a new Outlaw Pass.

Outlining what fans can expect Rockstar Games said: “With both games playing home to more players than ever before in recent months, we know the community has been awaiting news of any updates for GTA Online and Red Dead Online and we are happy to share that both games will receive exciting new updates in the weeks ahead.

“For Red Dead Online, players can expect a massive new update to arrive Tuesday, July 28th featuring a new Frontier Pursuit that will introduce players to the secrets of naturalism as part of an all-new Role, plus a new Outlaw Pass, tons of community-requested features and fixes, and much more to play and discover in the months to come.

“A summer update to GTA Online is also on the way, offering up a fun mix of diverse new content from the game’s massive array of experiences to enjoy.”

Rockstar Games also teased that later this year both Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA Online will be getting further big updates.

While GTA Online will be getting its “biggest ever update”.

Rockstar said: “Later this year players can expect more big updates for both games, including some exciting new extensions and augmentations to an existing role in Red Dead Online, and the biggest ever update for GTA Online, featuring our latest take on Heists in an entirely new location.”

Elsewhere, a further new feature coming in the Red Dead Redemption 2 summer update was revealed in another post on the Rockstar Newswire.

It said: “As part of Tuesday’s update to Red Dead Online look for a new Advanced Camera in the Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Catalogue that offers improved features like increased mobility when capturing photographs, a set of filters and more.”
