Manchester City did everything in their powers to overturn their two-year Champions League ban by sending nine lawyers to their court case against UEFA, it has been revealed.
Pep Guardiola’s side successfully overturned their two-year European suspension earlier this month after they were initially punished for breaching financial fair play rules by UEFA.
But despite their successful appeal, the Court of Arbitration for Sport revealed there was a ‘blatant disregard of principles’ during the investigation in a massive 92-page document outlining the case.
