Actress Jacqueline Scott has died aged 89. Jacqueline’s death has been confirmed by her son, who told the Hollywood Reporter she died from natural causes at her home in Los Angeles last week.
In her career, which lasted over five decades, the star appeared in several films and has guest starred in more than 100 television programmes.
Jacqueline made her film debut as a nurse named Polly Baron in the 1958 thriller Macabre.
She went on play the sister of Dr. Richard Kimble (David Janssen) in four episodes of The Fugitive between 1964 and 1967.
Jacqueline was also known for her roles in Quinn Martin productions such as The F.B.I, The Streets of San Francisco, Cannon and Barnaby Jones.

As well as this, her on-screen credits include; House of Women in 1962, Empire of the Ants in 1977, 77 Sunset Strip, Bat Masterson and Route 66.
In an interview back in 2016 with Classic Film and TV Cafe, Jacqueline discussed her various roles throughout her career.
She said: ”I wanted to play all different characters. And I got to do that.
”Once I’d be the good girl and once I’d be the bad girl.
The pair struck up a romance on the set of Macabre and married in 1958.
The actress was born on June 25, 1931, in Sikeston, Missouri.
She competed in tap-dance competitions from the age of three and went on to perform in Broadway productions.
On Broadway, she portrayed Susan Dennison in The Wooden Dish in 1955 and Rachel Brown in Inherit the Wind in the same year.
Fans of the actress have paid tribute to the late star on Twitter this evening.
One user wrote: “Sad to hear Jacqueline Scott has passed away #RIP.”
“Jacqueline Scott – RIP,” a second commented.
A third penned: “#RIP actress Jacqueline Scott; she helped David Janssen’s Richard Kimble find closure on the finale of ‘The Fugitive’ & appeared in Don Siegel’s Charley Varrick, Spielberg’s Duel, Gunsmoke and lots of Quinn Martin productions.”
She is survived by her son, granddaughters Arianna and Valerie and daughter-in-law Sue.
