Cameron (played by Nic Jackman) has been causing havoc on the wards of Holby City for some weeks now, with none of his colleagues aware of his killer secret. Tuesday night’s episode of the BBC medical drama saw him strike again as he tried to impress locum doctor Drew Nicholson-Heath (John Barrowman), knowing he had a reputation for poaching upcoming stars in the surgical world. However, Nicky (Belinda Owusu) had just a bit more about her than the villain did, with the guest character taking a shining to her. In order to crush his opponent, the schemer took action as he eyed up another victim. However, those watching at home picked up on how the calculated bad guy could be exposed once and for all.
With Nicky getting all the praise from Drew, he allowed her to take part in a tricky procedure in theatre to showcase her skills.
Meanwhile, Cameron was posted to the after-care unit and infuriated by being put down, the villain came up with a rather dangerous plan.
Checking up on the patient his colleague had operated on, the schemer sabotaged the stitches she had placed to allow a wound to heal.
Although his latest victim had a chance of dying, the calculated character didn’t care as long as he swooped in to save the day and left his friend in a bad light.
However, viewers quickly caught on to how Drew and Ange Goddard (Dawn Steele) could be the ones to expose the killer.

One fan posted on Twitter: “They literally watched the surgery and said it was great work, how will they believe this #holbycity.”
Another added: “#holbycity Seriously??? Both Ang and Drew saw the operation. And he’s going to get away with it again? This is ridiculous and has gone on too long. Also extremely irritating. When will it end?” (sic)
A third commented: “But if the consultants have already seen Nicky’s work on the patient then surely Cameron would get caught that way? #holbycity.”
“Oh, p*** off with this now. Surely it’s obvious that the stitch has been cut and not spilt. #holbycity,” a fourth chimed.
However, her loyalties lay with Cameron and although it seemed Drew knew something was suspect with how the patient had bled out, she wasn’t too convinced.
Out for revenge on the locum doctor for knocking him back, the villain then keyed the guest character’s expensive car to prove a point.
It’s not yet been revealed when the schemer’s dark ways will finally be exposed, but it seems he is starting to raise a few eyebrows.
Speaking about the fallout of the killer’s secrets, Nicky star Belinda, 31, has teased some truly heartbreaking days ahead for her character.
The soap star said: “It’s going to send shock waves through the whole hospital, let alone with just the people who are closest to him.
“The problem is, it’s going to take a lot to convince Nicky of Cameron’s guilt. After they sleep together, the floodgates open for Nicky.
“She thinks it’s finally going to happen for her and Cam like we all do when our crush looks in our direction,” Belinda told Inside Soap.
Could Nicky be the one to expose her friend’s killer ways, or could she become another victim to add to his hit list?
