“I’ve never looked further than Tokyo,” she added.
“In my own head, since I started racing, Tokyo was kind of the goal, the one that I wanted to get to.
“I always said that if I get to Paris that would be an extra one and it would be really good.
“But it’s only three years between games and it feels like I should just carry on anyway.
“It’s only three years and normally within three years you kind of feel like you’re ready to go anyway.
“I’m not promising anything. It all depends on injury, how my body holds up and if I’m still winning.
“But it’s definitely in my eyesight now and I’m trying not to forget about Tokyo and look too far forward but I don’t think you’ll see the back of me after Tokyo.”
