Crystal Palace are ready to let Wilfried Zaha leave this summer, provided their valuation of the attacker is met. The past few years at Palace have been dominated by speculation about the prized asset but the 27-year-old has shaken off the transfer rumours and stayed at Selhurst Park.
Last summer, Arsenal and Everton were priced out of a deal for Zaha after Palace set an asking price for £80million.
But after a season in which he has just four goals and five assists, the Eagles are finally prepared to allow Zaha to move on.
And according to the Daily Mirror, Everton are braced to re-ignite their interest in Zaha with manager Carlo Ancelotti said to be a big admirer.
The Toffees have spent heavily with little success in recent seasons however owner Farhad Moshiri could open up his chequebook again to help give the team some much needed quality.
The report says Palace haven’t received any offers for Zaha yet but have dropped their price tag for him, acknowledging the financial struggle clubs are facing due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Zaha’s departure would give manager Roy Hodgson extra funds to strengthen a team that won just once after the league season resumed in June.
Palace scored just five goals in their last nine games with Zaha, in particular, out of form.

Speaking after Palace’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham on the final day of the season, Hodgson conceded Zaha had lost his focus since the restart and that his mind was set on leaving.
Hodgson told talkSPORT: “I think he’s making it pretty clear that he’d like to move.
“I think he made it very clear last season, we got a good tune out of him for two-thirds of the season.
“I don’t think he’s been anything like as good as he can be during this COVID period but he’s really had to do a job up front all on his own so he will say, ‘I needed more help if you want to see the best of me’.
“But he’s a very valuable player, a very valuable player for us and he’s still got a good transfer value so what will happen I really can’t say.
“How keen and desperate he is to get away, only he can answer that question.
“All I can say is we really appreciate the service he’s given in the three years Ray Lewington and I have been here and of course we’re more than happy to continue working with him because he’s a quality player.
“But we’ll just have to watch this space in the same ways you guys will have to watch this space and we’ll no doubt accept what decision he’s finally made.”
