DON’T MISS

Packs that should not be consumed are 250 grams.

Food recall warnings are not often issued but must be taken seriously by consumers.

Customers can return the faulty packs to the store where it was bought for a full refund.

They can also contact Uncle Ben’s consumer care line on 0800-952-1234 to arrange a refund.

When an issue is spotted with a food item, it might be ‘recalled’ or ‘withdrawn’.

If an item is recalled, customers are asked to return it to the store where it was bought.

Affected products can be withdrawn which means they are taken off the shelves.
