Steph McGovern: ‘I admit to my mistakes’ BBC star issues apology after ‘accepting failure'

Former BBC Breakfast presenter Steph McGovern, 38, has candidly owned up to an unfortunate error she suffered while recording a new episode of her Not Bad For A Monday podcast. The mum-of-one made the admission in the latest instalment of the podcast, which she hosts with her childhood friend Claire and producer Geoff.

She told listeners: “I feel like, well I don’t feel like, we have to apologise for last week. I’m really sorry everyone.

“Basically, we recorded what is definitely our best episode ever.”

“It was hilarious,” Geoff chimed.

Steph sheepishly continued: “And I stupidly lost all the audio and we didn’t have time to re-record, I’m sorry.”
