Gemma Atkinson and boyfriend Gorka Marquez first met while Gemma competed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017. The couple confirmed they were an item a year later and have been together ever since. Gemma has now spoken out on her relationship with Gorka and how they have coped during the lockdown.
Gemma and Gorka have revealed they are moving into a new house together as a family.
Talking exclusively to HELLO! Gemma said: “We hopefully should be moving in the next week – we are hoping!
“We packed everything off before lockdown, so we have been kind of living out of cardboard boxes for the last three months.
“But I said to Gorka, ‘Once we’re in the new house and we’re all sorted, we’ll look back and laugh that we lived on a beanbag for three months.’

Gemma told the radio station: “It was quite sad because until then apparently they officially take the mum’s name, but once registered she’s an official Marquez.
“And I’m the only one now who’s not a Marquez in the family.
“I said to him [Gorka] ‘You do know now we need to get married otherwise I’m not part of the family.”
Gemma added: “He’s like ‘Yeah we have time, it’s OK’.”
