Fleetwood Mac's co-founder Peter Green dies aged 73 'peacefully in his sleep'

Newsreader Kay Burley also shared the sad news with her 485,000 Twitter followers, as she posted: “RIP Peter Green. He was 73. Fleetwood Mac,” which was followed by a crying face emoji.

One of her followers replied: “Very sad. One of the very finest Blues guitarists.

“Listen to his early work with John Mayall, before he found greater fame with Fleetwood Mac. RIP.”
