The Classic FM DJ beat the likes of Eamonn Holmes, Lorraine Kelly and Susanna Reid for the top spot via the online poll with 39 percent of the votes.
Bill, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2016, reacted to a social media user who quizzed him on if he was “upset” following his win.
It comes after he previously tweeted his support for his former colleague and Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid.
He said: “I’m not upset,” in response to the social media user.
