Sheila (played by Colette Mann) hasn’t had the easiest time on Neighbours of late, having lost her son Gary Canning (Damien Richardson) after he was killed by Finn Kelly (Rob Mills) and trying to navigate herself through her grief process. However, she has had the support of her grandson Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan) throughout and with the arrival of his cousin Levi Canning (Richie Morris) she couldn’t be in safe hands…or so she thinks. Upcoming scenes on the Channel 5 soap will see her become the innocent victim of a youngster’s prank when it all goes horribly wrong. As she’s taken to hospital for treatment, will the lasting effects change her life forever?
The drama begins when Emmett Donaldson (Ezra Justin) invites troublesome school friend Louis Curtain (Declan Dennis) over to his house.
Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) and David Tanaka’s (Takaya Honda) foster son is really struggling to make acquaintances at school, so by spending some time together, his guardian’s hope the two boys will become best of friends.
When the newcomer panics about how to keep his guest entertained, he asks Hendrix Greyson (Benny Turland) if he can borrow his drone.
However, events soon spiral out of control when the troublemaker uses the device to spy of Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson) who ends up throwing a stone at it.
What none of them are aware of is Sheila is nearby and with the drone falling from the sky, she becomes the target of a nasty accident.

With the young boys fleeing the scene, it’s up to Sheila’s friends and family to pick up the pieces and their loved one off of the floor.
David is soon on hand as the first doctor on the scene and following a quick examination, he rules the grandmother needs to go to the hospital.
What the soap has explored on numerous occasions is the medical condition of retrograde amnesia as both Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) and villain Finn suffered from it as a result of head injuries.
As the matriarch has found herself connected to both characters in one way or another in recent months, could she suffer from the same memory issues as them?
Whatever happens to Sheila, it seems the beloved character won’t be going anywhere in a hurry and will be sticking around for the foreseeable.
In an interview with Digital Spy, actress Colette Mann, 70, explained: “Unless you know something I don’t know, I’m there at the moment until August 2021.
“So I’m assuming that I’ll be there! We’ll see what happens – if another Canning comes in, I’ll feel even safer.
“I have no desires to leave as yet,” she added, so could the matriarch’s injuries from the drone accident lead to her next big storyline?
Troublesome teenager and newcomer Louis isn’t a complete stranger to the world of Neighbours as the actor’s father Stefan Dennis, 61, plays ruthless businessman Paul Robinson.
Speaking about his role on the Australian soap, actor Declan told This Morning: “Dad [Stefan] didn’t so much help me just play ‘the bad guy’.
“It was more about helping me develop the character as a whole. But it is fun being a bit of a chip off the old block.
“I do like the idea of following [acting] as a career, but I also understand the pitfalls of the unsureness of this industry. Therefore, I understand why my parents have suggested I have a second string to my bow!”
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5.
