Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin in the newest game from developer Edelweiss, the two-person team behind 2014’s Astebreed. In this action/simulation/RPG, players will tend to a farm, create a home in the wilderness, and battle demonic beasts (with farm tools, of course). Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin will be published by XSeed and is slated to launch on PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC on November 10.
Edelweiss says the game combines “side-scrolling action with deep crafting and farming simulation.” You play as a harvest goddess named Sakuna who is tasked to tame a threat on an island and help humanity establish a new life here.
