Tottenham’s pursuit of Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has cast doubt over Harry Winks’ future at the club.
Jose Mourinho faces competition from Everton for the Saints star, who is priced around £25million.

However, he is not quite as favoured under the new boss – with stiff competition from the likes of Moussa Sissoko, Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso in midfield.
Hojbjerg was recently stripped of the Southampton captaincy after he confirmed to the club that he would not be signing an extension this summer, giving his current deal just 12 more months.
Therefore, the Saints would prefer to cash in on him this summer rather than allow him to leave as a free agent the following year.
