Pokemon Go Fest: Don't miss out on incredible free gifts from Niantic

Pokemon Go fans should take advantage of an incredible new free giveaway from Niantic. In an effort to hype the upcoming Pokemon Go Fest event later this month, Niantic has released a selection of Pokemon-themed decorations. Better yet, you don’t need a Pokemon Go Fest virtual ticket to take advantage of the free giveaway, which can be seen over on the event website.

“Bring the adventure of Pokemon GO Fest 2020 home!” reads a Niantic blog post.

“With the Print at Home kit, you can assemble crafts, decorations, and more to help you re-create the adventure of traditional Pokemon GO Fests, no matter where you are in the world!”

The amazing new Pokemon Go Fest downloads include various cut outs and foldable decorations based on your favourite items and characters.

As Niantic points out, Pokemon Go Fest events feature life-size cut outs of Professor Willow, Spark, Blanche, and Candela. Fans typically use these cut outs for photo opportunities.

Fortunately, you can now do the same at home, with life-sized printable versions of the popular characters.

Elsewhere, Niantic has released a selection of Pokemon Go (and Team Rocket) flags, which can be used to decorate your home during the event.

Fans can also print out a Pokemon Go maze, colour in the Pokemon GO Fest logo, and even decorate pennant flags.

Perhaps best of all are the Papercraft items that can be folded into popular Pokemon Go items.

You can create your very own Pikachu Visor for staying cool, or build your own Pokemon Go Gifts and PokeBalls in time for the event.

The Pokemon Go Fest event takes place on the weekend of July 25 and July 26.

Because of social distancing and lockdowns, this year’s Pokemon Go Fest is a virtual event that anybody can join.

“Trainers from around the world are invited to participate in a special two-day Pokemon GO Fest experience. You can get your ticket now in the in-app shop.”

Among other things, Pokemon Go fans will encounter over 75 species of Pokemon in the wild, as well as in raids, and as Special Research encounters.

Fans can also experience five rotating habitats themed after fire, water, grass, battle, and friendship! Each habitat will feature different Pokemon and challenges.

There’s also a Global Challenge Arena, where players everywhere will work towards a shared goal, complete with a special reward.
