BT broadband and Virgin Media are about to face their toughest challenge yet

Confirming the update Richard Tang, Founder & Chairman, Zen Internet told Express.co.uk: “Full fibre rollout is an incredibly exciting chapter in the broadband industry story. We see and hear every day the hunger within the UK for increased bandwidth and so we are delighted this new offering allows us to feed that appetite once a property has become full fibre-enabled. We have already seen a great reaction to these faster speeds with many eligible customers opting to upgrade once the new speeds arrive in their area.

“The last few months have taught us about the vital importance of the quality of our internet connections as we have adapted to a new way of working and living in lockdown and our customers are willing to upgrade to faster products to ensure they have the very best connectivity possible.”

Prices for this boosted broadband aren’t exactly cheap. Zen says its Full Fibre 900 product will cost £70 per month and the Full Fibre 500 is £55 per month, both available on 24 month contracts.

That is more expensive than both BT and Sky but, we guess sometimes you get what you pay for.

Zen has come top of the UK’s suppliers on numerous occasions with the recent Broadband Genie home broadband survey giving Zen the gong for Best Broadband Provider, Most Recommended Provider and Most Trusted Provider.
