Google Pixel Buds UK release offers a new alternative to AirPods and Galaxy Buds

Google is also boasting that its Galaxy Buds include something called Adaptive Sound which automatically optimises volume based on environmental noise.

So if you’re in a busy coffee shop or noisy train station the audio will be boosted to help drown out the din of people chatting.

Plus there’s dual beamforming mics which have been added to try to make sure you sound clear and precise when making calls.

Other features include simple touch controls so users to play, pause, skip tracks and even adjust the volume without ever touching their phones.

There’s also auto pause when you remove them from your ears and, if you lose them, a special “Find my Earbuds” can make them ring so you can track them down.

Like most wireless headphones, Google has made its Buds water and sweat resistant which means they should survive your next post-lockdown workout.
